Using specialised transducers, Ulthera precisely delivers ultrasound energy to targeted depths beneath the skin — 4.5mm (superficial musculoaponeurotic system), 3mm (deep dermis), and 1.5mm (superficial dermis). By focusing energy into concentrated thermal coagulation points, the treatment raises temperatures beneath the skin to over 60°C.
